Nursery News July 2017

Meadows would like to give a warm welcome to John, Erica, Hugo, Harrison, Robyn and Molly who have all been settling in over July, we look forward to getting to know all of you.

We sadly say goodbye to our Flower Room leader, Stevie, who is moving to Australia. We thank Stevie for all her hard work during her time at Meadows and wish her well with her new adventure! Emily also left in July to go to university. It was a pleasure to have Emily working with us in the nursery and we wish her well with her studies.

We would like to thank Kathleen our Manager from Millerfield Place for all her hard work at Pilrig while covering Elaine’s holidays. We also welcome back Lisa, our Deputy Manager, from maternity leave. Lisa will be working 3 days each week and her son Presley will be joining us in the Hedgehogs Den.

Care Home Visits

Our visits to Victoria Manor Care Home are continuing, with our pre-school children attending and carrying out different activities while there. Roanna, our music teacher, joined the children on one visit and the children sang some nursery songs to the residents.

Tatty Bumpkins and Enjoy-a-ball

We look forward to our Tatty Bumpkin and Enjoy-a-ball classes starting up again next month after the summer holidays. These activities are always very popular and the children are always keen to participate.
